Asia Pacific Predator League 2018 "The biggest Gaming & eSports PR Event in APAC region"

The Goal

growth of gaming market in Asia region for the last 2 years create opportunity
to optimize the revenue stream. “Predator” gaming laptop brand from Acer is
gaining traction, but in need of a robust support to ensure awareness and
preference at the intended audience

a strategic partnership between Intel and Nvidia to position Predator brands as
the “absolute best for gaming”. Gain success by conducting press activity for
Asia Pacific Predator League in Indonesia, the first gaming event from Acer,
and the biggest eSports competition in Asia region


Together with Acer APAC regional team, Intel and Nvidia, advo
Indonesia managed and acted as PR agency regional hub to lead and coordinate
APAC media for media exposure. The plan was designed to attract gaming heroes
story from each country and leverage it into one umbrella campaign under APAC
Predator League. The activities were ranging from media interview, product review,
live report, blog report, and video report which involved more than 250
Indonesian media, 50 APAC media, and 100 tech influencers from APAC region.



The kick-off and launch event of this program held in early 2018
has successfully earned media attention not only from Indonesia, but Malaysia,
Thailand, Singapore, Philipines, Taiwan, China, India, and Korea. The event
resulted more than USD 5 million PR value, making it as the biggest technology
event in SEA region at that time.
