DIMO PAY INDONESIA – ONE DAY WITHOUT CASH
PAYMENT SOLUTION

THE GOAL

DIMO, the leading financial technology company that delivers secure and easy mobile payment solutions using QR technology appointed advo to help them engage with the media for a movement called One Day Without Cash. The goal was to secure more coverage of DIMO being today’s cashless solution to do everyone’s day-to-day purchases as well as highlihting the benefits of going into cashless society.


OUR PLAN

Leveraging its solid media relations, advo assisted Dimo engage with top media from business, general and lifestyle to reach wider audience from various segments. To build greater user experience during the event, the media was given free top-ups into their mobile wallet which can be used to do some errands which involves payment transactions through QR Code scanning at all Dimo’s merchants from various categories. advo also facilitated Q&A session with the CEO of Dimo Pay Indonesia as well as other targetted spokespersons. Furthermore, advo saw this as an opportunity to also highlight Dimo as an agnostic and inclusive digital payment which enables financial inclusion to all levels of society by bringing together one of local SMEs (street food vendors) that has been using the technology from Dimo and actually letting the media purchase directly from the vendor using PayByQR.


THE OUTCOME


The event resulted in extensive publications from top media, including Liputan6, Viva, Selular and many more. Advo also managed to secure coverages on print media such as MIX Magazines (2 pages), Marketing (2 pages) and SWA (2 pages). All with 100% positive and neutral tone coverage.
